2019 Honda Insight Review
The Honda Insight has gone through several redesigns, with the latest being in 2014. What was once a hatchback hybrid will now return as a sleek sedan hybrid, ready to take on the streets of Santa Ana, Tustin, and Rancho Santa Margarita.
While the vehicle won’t be available until later this year, we here at Norm Reeves Honda Superstore Irvine want to give you a sneak peek at this impressive sedan. That’s why we created this 2019 Honda Insight release date review. We’ll go over all the information we have now regarding what this vehicle has to offer. Read about it below and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
The 2019 Insight will have a smooth design highlighted by the Honda brand’s signature flying-wing grille as well as low-profile LED headlights. The striking wheel design will give the vehicle a sporty look, while the elegant design lines, wide stance, and LED taillights will give the vehicle a more sophisticated look. Plus, the chrome accents are sure to make anyone turn their head to admire this impressive-looking sedan.
The Honda Insight will offer plenty of space for five passengers and have optional 60/40 split-folding seats to maximize cargo space. Leather seats will be available along with plenty of cutting-edge technologies to make your drives more enjoyable.
For example, it’ll offer an 8-inch display audio capacitive touchscreen that’ll display all your media options. And with available Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, you can plug in your compatible smartphone to the vehicle’s USB drive to access your music playlists, text messages, and more on the display screen.
The Insight will also come standard with Honda Sensing®. This intelligent suite of driver-assisting technologies was designed to help keep you aware on the road to prevent an accident from occurring. Some features included in this suite are Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Departure Warning.
The Insight will come with a 1.5L engine that’ll be connected to two electric motors and a lithium-ion battery. And with the battery being located under the rear seats, you’ll get an increase in passenger and cargo room.
Plus, in most cases, the vehicle will run on electricity alone, with the gas engine firing a generator that’ll send power to the front wheels.
So, not only will you be able to enjoy your drives for longer, but with all the features mentioned above, you’re sure to have a fun ride, too.
